1. About these terms
sweetas.cc is operated by Obtainment Limited, trading as Sweet As Creative Collective, of Wānaka, New Zealand. By using this site you agree to these terms. Our privacy statement explains how we handle personal information.
2. Skis in development
Our skis are prototypes in development. Shapes, dimensions, materials, construction, test plans and dates shown on this site are provisional and will change through testing. Figures shown in the Ski Designer, and the handling in Ski Lab Spin, are design estimates from a first-cut model, not measured results. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell skis.
3. The Ski Designer and design submissions
The Ski Designer is free to use. Your drafts are saved in your own browser and are not sent to us unless you submit them.
You must be 16 or over to submit a design. By submitting a design, you confirm it is your own work, and you give Obtainment Limited a free, permanent, worldwide licence to use, change, build, test, show and publish it. Where we show a submitted design, we will credit it to the name you chose when submitting. Submitting a design does not create any right to payment, a share of sales or any other benefit. Any collaboration would be agreed separately in writing.
4. Ideas and name suggestions
We welcome ideas, feedback and name suggestions. We are free to use them, or not, without payment or credit, and we may already be working on similar ideas. Please do not send us anything you consider confidential.
5. Testers
Testing is by invitation. Registering to become a tester does not guarantee an invitation. Anyone invited to test will be asked to agree to separate tester terms before testing.
6. Our content
The content of this site, including text, images, video, drawings, the Sweet As name and logo, the Ski Designer and Ski Lab Spin, belongs to Obtainment Limited or its licensors. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.
7. Using the site responsibly
Please do not misuse the site, including by trying to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access, or submit content that is unlawful, offensive or infringes someone else’s rights.
8. Liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is and may change or be unavailable from time to time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Law and changes
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts have jurisdiction. We may update these terms from time to time by posting a new version here with its date.
